By accessing or using HandoffAI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
HandoffAI is an AI-powered platform that generates project handoff documentation by synthesizing data from connected third-party services. The Service is designed for freelancers and development teams who need to create structured handoff documents for project transitions.
3. Account Registration
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
4. Pricing and Payment
Free Tier
Free accounts receive up to 5 handoff generations per month with access to 4 integrations.
Pay Per Handoff
Single handoff purchases cost $9 per handoff document with access to all 10 integrations.
Pro Subscription
The Pro plan costs $19 per month and includes unlimited handoff generations with access to all 10 integrations. Pro subscriptions include a 14-day free trial.
Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all purchases. If you are not satisfied with the Service, contact us at hello@handoffai.com within 30 days of your purchase for a full refund.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Use the Service to generate content that infringes on intellectual property rights
- Abuse rate limits or attempt to overwhelm the Service through automated means
- Resell or redistribute generated handoff documents as a competing service
- Submit malicious content through integrations intended to exploit the AI system
6. AI-Generated Content
Handoff documents are generated by AI based on the project data you provide through connected integrations. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before sharing it with clients or stakeholders. HandoffAI is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all data you provide to the Service and all handoff documents generated from your data. HandoffAI retains ownership of the Service itself, including its software, design, and branding. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
8. Third-Party Integrations
The Service connects to third-party platforms via OAuth. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or security of third-party services. You authorize us to access your data on these platforms within the scopes you approve during the OAuth connection process.
9. Service Availability
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.
10. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from the dashboard settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, during which you may export your handoff documents.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HandoffAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, or reliance on AI-generated content.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
